Re: Derren Brown: Milgram experiment
I'm a political scientist. We all read about this but the actual data generally is not studied. Because it was unethical sociologists and other scientific fields have turned their back on it lest they give such experiments authority. But the truth is it happened anyway and we all know the results so we don't have to study it because in the back of our head we know authority can create monsters.

Re: Science of Scams: Ouija Board Revealed!
Won't work on believers and con-artists
If you prove that it was people moving the glass and not spirits they will say it was the spirits moving their hand. If you disprove that spirits were moving their hands they will say they will say it was the spirits were moving the glass. And the logic circle will go on.
It still begs the question why you need to be touching the glass for it to be moved by spirits. Ultimately people believe because they want to no matter what you tell them or prove to them.

Re: Olbermann: Hillary's Assasination Reference
Maybe because both JFK and RFK were killed long before my time this doesn't move me as much but I think the reaction to her comments are over the top. People are looking into it to much. She's talking about long primaries not assassinations. However it is important to remember that wording and rhetoric is extremely important. So its possible that it was intentional.

Re: Sophie Merry: Groovy Dancing Girl
Yes but I think that its even more impressive that she was able to do it all in half time and still sync with the music when it was speed up.

Re: Extreme Beer Pong
If he hated beer he could fill his cups with something else. Like Jack and coke. And if he is this good he needs to drop the stupid frat look and give up on beer pong and put those visual spacial skills to use in something like geometry or even a professional sport like shooting.

Ariel is hot. But mermaid sex is really just foreplay. you can't really go all the way.

Re: The Machine Girl Trailer
My first thought was "fake trailer". Kinda like hobo with a shotgun. But if that was a fake trailer they put in a lot of money and work.

Re: Lion Hugs
I visited a ranch/resort in the jungles of Belize once. They had a number of animals from monkeys to horses but the coolest was their leopard. They raised it from practically a new born. They would walk it on a leash and often let it roam free. Until it bit the owners hand drawing blood. Being that they often had guests most of the year they had to cage her. It was a nice big cage and very accommodating but no one could go in except the owners who raised her. You could still pet her through the fence and have her lick your hand.
