Mongojazz, I think what genlesherpa tried to say was that the people who made this video are making fun of the stereotype that germans are not funny. And that worked. Just read the first few comments. But then again this comment only reinforces the my not getting it.

Well, there is a comedic moment at the end with the look for the upcoming episodes thing, but still this Quick, tell a joke, what, you can´t, well then there´s no comedy approach? Not funny.

Would an outsider understand the humour of loriot or helge schneider? I don´t think so. So this is fine.
