Wow, I dont beleive it. Someone tell me how this is fake. The camera tends to angle in too close and those zooms and fades are beguiling, but every so often it looks like the kid really is painting that!

I dont normally follow American Idol, but this episode showed up on my Tivo and I watched it all the way though. I concur that the males do seem a lot better than the females. I watched he beatbox fellow (Blake Lewis) have his first audition, he can sing... but not as well as his competetors, IMO.
