Re: Improv Everywhere: Surprise Wedding Reception
Hmm. When does improv fail to become improv? Nothing about that seemed improvised to me.
Re: Opening a Can of Honey in Microgravity
I'd love to spend a day in zero gravity.

Re: Skydiving Without A Parachute
Gives me ideas as to what they could do on the next episode of Punk'd.
Re: Wanda Sykes on Gay Marriage
Well speaking of counter evolutionary, wouldnt modern medicine and some surgeries be considered counter evolutionary as well? Allowing people with genetic heart defects or diseases like diabetes, that people without medical assistance would probably succumb to, instead thrive and pass on their genetic material. Just a point that counter evolutionary doesnt mean bad. I dont really care what gay people do, I do have issues with gay couples adopting children though. Maybe because its proven that kids without a mother and father figure are more prone to have issues later on. Then again, is being adopted by a less than ideal couple better than never being adopted at all? Tricky business.
Re: Red Eye: Blame Canada
Glad to hear that your sense of humor is so sophisticated that you're unable to enjoy jokes if they are at a certain "level". I find it a bit strange you frequent a website with a specific category for toilet related humor.
Usually when people are more familiar with a certain culture, its easier to recognize their quirks and therefore easier to see the humor there.

Re: Red Eye: Blame Canada
I'm an American living in Canada. The people who are deeply offended and pissed about this video need to lighten up. Canadians here joke about their own military all the time, but now act all offended as if these people were insulting dead soldiers as some people claim. This is clearly not aimed to insult any men who died while serving. It's a jab at a tiny military in a huge country. This is Red Eye for gods sake. Its not even a serious show. It would be like SNL doing a skit about the Canadian navy having 4 rowboats. Funny thing, I've heard thats pretty close to being true. Learn to take a joke, whats with the sudden seriousness?
Re: 60 Minutes: Gay or Straight?
Scientifically speaking, that is incredibly interesting. I've always been of the belief that you can tell from a young age based on behavior, leading me to believe its a hard wired thing. No matter what your stance is on any of this stuff you should watch this.
Re: State of the Cookie: March 2009
Point taken about the web in general moving towards videos. I guess I have to agree that its pretty much the way of things these days. As far as games go, I would recommend Kongregate.com if you haven't looked into it already. If I can do anything to help, let me know. The site admins seem to be around quite regularly. As I cant completely vouch for their ad policy because I'm usually viewing with firefox and adblock, I checked the site out in IE just to take a look and the ads seemed really reasonable. I go there quite regularly and they seem to have some incredibly high quality games. Just a thought. I'll also be trying to stop by here more regularly and put some votes on what I can.
Re: Confronting Evolution's Racists Roots
Holy crap, and the founding fathers of the united states had slaves! People with slaves were awful humans, who were also racist! Therefore we must conclude that everything they ever accomplished is worthless.
Re: Ted Talks: Captain Charles Moore on the Seas of Plastic
This is why humans will eventually end up destroying their own race like a cancer on the planet. Not just this of course, but many other reasons. We've grown accustomed to lifestyles our planet can't handle and nobody wants to give up any of their luxuries to save a few fish or birds. Multiply those times millions and billlions and what will be left in a hundred years?
Re: The Crisis of Credit Visualized
So to make a long story short.... sub prime mortgages are the root of all of our problems?
