Also, provisional ballots are accepted in most cases and anyone who says otherwise is paranoid.

Yikes! The time line theory suggests that there was a lot of pre-thought into making all of the games unified. Which I would be very surprised if there was any at all.
And the split timeline theory suggests that someone is putting way too much thought into unifying the games.
After all, I don't remember all the games perfectly, but didn't the master sword make an appearance in many of them and it was contained in different buildings with different pre-requisite for being able to wield the sword?
Or maybe I'm over thinking this too. ha
