Re: Family Guy: Better Off Dead Race
What's the target audience here? The average viewer of family guy is probably that coveted 18-24 year old demographic and they wouldn't know a Better Off Dead reference if it bit them on the butt.

South Park made a reference to the film as well. Maybe the film has more staying power than I thought. I know I love.

Re: Lost Toy Commercials
Toys made of real metal and fanged snakes with sharp teeth that you attack people with?

Baby's first lawsuit!

Half these toys made horrific noises too, I wonder how many children got their asses beat by their dads on Saturday morning (after he had too much "liquid breakfast").

Too dark? Sorry...must be having popamatic flashbacks.

Oh, and the puppet santa, nightmare inducing.

Re: Bill O'Reilly Freakout on Inside Edition
I'm a card carrying member of the left wing nut-job liberals so I should hate Bill as much as anyone but this just looks like someone flipping out after a tough day. Didn't Casey Kasem (the kindest person in radio) freak out after a long day and get recorded? I actually started listening to this dudes radio show on the way to work thinking it would be a hoot in a Limbaugh kind of way and I found him to be fairly right wing but not bonkers, a little disappointing really.

Re: Star Wars Scene by Scene Remake on Super 8
Some of these scenes are pretty good. I almost thought they were dailies from the original. Great costume design. I'm also assuming they had to hand draw all the laser stuff onto the frames by hand. Wow!

Re: Year 2000 Scifi Czechoslovakia
Pretty accurate. Timers on cooking devices, ice cube makers, blenders, the electric refrigerator. For a kitchen of the future it isn't too far fetched. The microwave is the only thing they missed. That single invention has changed the way we cook more than anything. Who the heck has time to wait 8 hours for a fricken turkey? The idea that women would remain stay at home cooks with tons of time simply vanished in the last 50 years leading to more of an instant food concept.

Re: Secret History of the Bra
Oh National Geographic...showing us boobs for generations and generations...thank you! Of course this is all for learning, yup, only for learning. Next I need to pay tribute to the Sears catalog which helped me through those difficult years as well :)

Re: Moebius Transformations Revealed
They teach math as a series of formulas and don't explain how or why you would use them. It wasn't until calculus 3 that they even began showing us why we learned all that stuff to begin with. Sad really. Had they shown this film and others to most of the students the finishing class might have been more than 15 students.

Re: Chris Crocker on Maury Povich
It's Maury Povich scared? The dude he is interviewing got watched WAY more than he did. If I had a stake in TV I would be crapping my pants spooked at youtube and the results they were getting. Hell, I didn't even know Povish was still online...until I saw it on the intertubes.

Re: Chuck E. Cheese Character Training Video
Yes, you too can earn minimum wage and give kids screaming nightmares for years! John the Chuck E. Cheese franchise today.

The only thing creepier than the walk around dudes was the animatronic band. Of course I'm biased as I once saw the robotic band leap off the stage and eat several children...pizza was good though.
