Re: Snow Drift
Decent little game this, with a nice sliding mechanic. Challenging enough to satisfy, but not so hard that a level ever requires more than two or three goes.

Re: The Impossible Quiz 2
Fun. No idea how to get past level 50 though, and can't be bothered to keep working through the other questions every time.

Re: Manifold
Fun, but far too short. Only the final level is at all challenging.

Re: Hoshi Saga 2
Click and drag the grey block in the top left down towards the right, then use the guiding lines to align the pieces. A bit of spatial thinking is required to work it out, but trial and error will get you there soon enough anyway.

Re: Top 10 Tower Defence Games
There's certainly more than 10, and they've left out probably the best one of all - VectorTD

It's the successor to Flash Element TD and Flash Circle TD, and the best in the series - both in my eyes and the scores on M&C.

Re: Tetris Zone 40 Lines
No idea about this version of Tetris, but he seemed to get an incredibly favourable selection of blocks in that clip.

Re: The Blade of Innocence
I think this game is pretty good, but it's not that hard to beat. Having played it and lost on Normal the first time out, I've beaten Normal and Hard without much difficulty.

Rough Guide

You start with 150 gold - first thing to do is build a windmill to get a gold boost. The computer always builds barracks first, and then a footman. You will need to match this, so the next thing up is build barracks and then get two footmen.

The computer will probably attack you when it gets three footmen to your two, so you will probably need to get a third and forth footman. The computer will start building the blacksmith, but you should ignore it for the moment and save money for the fortress upgrade.

You will come under attack again with the computer's first riflemen enhanced squad. Do not worry about taking a bit of damage to your castle, but keep building footmen - as many as you need to see off the invaders, but watching to save as much money as you can.

At this point I would go for the trade upgrade to increase your money supply still further. It will mean a lot more time defending the castle in pitched battles, but it will pay off. Follow this up with the blacksmith upgrade and build the odd rifleman once you have at least 3 footmen. It's also worth buying the upgraded swords and guns when you can, but don't do it at the expense of men on the ground.

You should be able to hold off the attacking force for now. Your next upgrade must be the upgraded barracks that give you heroes. The computer will go for a hero as early as it can, and will probably beat you to it. You cannot afford to be too far behind, but hopefully the economic upgrades will mean you are training your hero as the computer sends its one across the battlefield.

From here you should be able to take the computer down without much trouble. It will take some time, and be a bit back and forth across the field, but it's in your favour. Go for the further economic upgrade to alchemy when you can - money is everything.

In general, remember that there's no point building riflemen and cannons unless you've got a hero, knights and footmen in front of them - they die too easily if undefended. That said, if properly protected they will last for ages and be very valuable, so once you are strong in close combat, back it up. Whilst I used them when beating the Hard difficulty, I would consider ignoring monks altogether. You don't spend enough time not fighting for them to heal up your troops a great deal.
