Re: Dawkins Makes an Eye
"We haven't evolved" Bullshit! Why do you think people need their wisdom teeth removed in this day and age? It's because our craniums are bigger and our skull needs more room to house our larger brains coinciding with the fact that our diet has changed substantially since the time when we did need wisdom teeth. And evolution is NOT random. It is the way life adapts to its surroundings. Let me put it to you this way... Giraffes with longer necks can reach taller trees for food, spending less time searching for trees means more time for mating. Therefore, the longer-necked giraffes would give birth more often and the sorter necked giraffes would have less children, so the species would eventually have longer necks. Mutations in species aren't so random as to have "eyes on your shoulders or other weird places" as you so eloquently put it. It is the simple mutation as having longer necks in giraffes or more cranium room in humans that push a species forward in adaptation to its surroundings. What evidence can you point to that evolution takes place very rapidly?

Re: Ancient Frilled Shark Caught On Tape
No, definatly not an eel, this is a real sighting outside of Tokyo.
From wikipedia:
"On January 23, 2007, staff at Awashima Marine Park in Shizuoka, south of Tokyo, were alerted by fishermen to a 'strange eel-like fish with razor sharp teeth'. The fish was identified as a female 1.6 m frilled shark and was captured by park staff who were concerned that the shark appeared to be unhealthy. The shark died a few hours after capture. This rare surface appearance of a frilled shark has been attributed to the animal being unwell and possibly disorientated"
