YOU WANT ONE EXAMPLE:
ok, fine. Perhaps you don't believe me that there are hundreds upon thousands of fossils that trace an evolutionary history. Perhaps you don't believe me that there is irrefutable and incontrovertible genetic evidence to back up natural selection. That's fine. I can't be bothered to hunt down internet references, and I probably can't force you to buy a text book, or go to a museum, or go BACK to college and get a real education. So continue to take your bible literally and be happy doing that; I don't give a damn.
But I will give you an example of evolution, or more specifically "natural selection" (which is the theory that so far best describes how evolution -- which is a fact -- occured) taking place. And as a bonus I'll make it such an easy example that you yourself can witness it happening. All you need is a bacterial culture, an antibiotic, and a magnifying glass.
Have you ever been to the doctors? I ask, because maybe you believe praying alone will cure all that ails you and that you don't need doctors. But if you ever HAVE been to the doctor, you'd know they are reluctant to hand out antibiotic prescriptions, especially if you don't really need it (ie if you have a cold). And the reason is, because you could develop an immunity to the antibiotic; or in other words, the bacteria develops a "resistance".
Following me so far? Any of this ring familiar?
Well good, because that's evolution, baby. That's survival of the fitest. You see, what happens is, an antibiotic is designed to kill off a certain strain of bacteria. But, because bacteria reproduce so rapidly (they do in a fraction of a second what humans do in nine months), the chances are very high that one of the bacteria babies will have a genetic mutation. And if this genetic mutation allows the bacteria to survive against the antibiotic, then that little baby bacteria will start reproducing like a son of a bitch, and all of a sudden the antibiotic is useless.
Maybe you don't believe me that this happens. Well, get your ass down to a science store, get some equipment, and do some tests. Yes, tests. You can try out the scientific method....maybe you'll learn to like it.
Or, you can just keep on praying to God. I'm sure he just loves to listening to your bullsh!t.

I was about to write a post along the lines of "wow, you are an idiot" and then give you hundreds upon thousands of examples of evolution having occured and evolution currently occuring on planet earth; but then I realized you gotta be joking. You're playing Devil's Advocate to get a rise out of people.
So, I won't argue with you, because I know you're just yanking our chains. Haha, come to think of it, it's quite funny. I should've realized from the beginning that nobody can be that stupid. Haha. good on ya.

There are countless examples showing that evolution occured/is occuring; in fact, the evidence for evolution is so overwhelming that it is a FACT that evolution did, in fact, take place. It's only a "Theory" because scientists are still trying to put the puzzle pieces together (ie fossil evidence) to get the full picture of exactly how evolution took place. Here's an analogy in case you're too stupid to understand what I've said so far:
The "Theory" of Gravity. There's no question that gravity exists, but the "theory" part of "Theory of Gravity" is describing the method by which gravity works. Scientists really aren't sure what gravity is, but they've got a theory as to how it works. BUT GRAVITY EXISTS!!!!
