I agree with Dosetaker.
As a 'grunt' worker myself, I'd have to say I'd love for something like that to happen where I work. It really would be an interesting departure from the norm.

Most of the stuff they do is to make people happy, to spice up daily life, to entertain... and while this Best Buy prank may have not been the greatest idea for those results, it was an interesting prank nonetheless. At least the employees like it.
As a side note, I'd like to point out that the comment "I suppose you think spammers are funny too" is extremely pointless and irrelevant to this conversation. I see no links between ad spammers and a group of pranksters. (And please, don't bother explaining the link.)

I agree, the internet needs to be left alone- but to make sure the telecoms leave it alone, we need to slab on a few rules for them to follow.
Also, where's the goddamned broadband we all payed for.
