As far as I know this is new technology. Maglev trains have existed since the 1980s but they use electromagnets and feedback control systems to keep the train levitated. This uses superconductors. Amazing!

They had enormous success in Afghanistan, allowing UNICEF, the WHO and Star Syringe to provide immunizations for over 1 million people and allowing the World Food Programme to distribute food. They absolutely saved lives.
