I really feel very strongly that this is correct. Tell me if I'm wrong, those of you that oppose the McCain/Palin ticket, but I really DON'T think Palin is going to bring some devious secessionist, anti-American sentiment to the white house and undermine the sovereignty of America or anything. I certainly don't take the accusations of this video seriously. I'm simply pissed that the republican party has brought petty charges like this against Obama (e.g. Ayers and Wright) and made equally ludicrous implications, and has very much expected voters to take it seriously...indeed expects them to vote according to these accusations. The hypocrisy is fantastic.
I wish I could say the same about Palin's religious affiliations, but I can't - I do honestly believe that they may influence a potential Palin presidency. Show me a video of some cleric exorcising witchcraft from Obama and I can promise you I will vote for a third party candidate.

Careful of trolling. I think most of would have had the same lump if it were McCain or Palin, if it were sincere and unplanned as this seems to be. Regardless of our political leanings.
If there is a difference, it might be that Palin's willingly includes the details of her personal life in her portfolio of presidential qualifications. Biden, on the other hand, and McCain too, tend to keep their private lives out of the spotlight. That might make me a little less moved if it were her that shed a tear, but really probably not.
