Re: Intelligence Squared Debate: Christopher Hitchens and Stephen Fry vs the Catholics (1 of 5)
It was enjoyable, but c'mon: Two incredible speakers against two individuals who can't seem to figure out how to put forth an argument that supports their position.

Re: I Love XKCD
I'm pretty sure people "who can be bothered [to read] web comics" are just like everyone else. They just happen to read web comics.

Re: I Love XKCD
You wouldn't lol, but you'd smile. It's actually just a video/audio representation of a specific xkcd comic, which is itself a kind of mash-up of inside jokes that you'd only understand if you read the comic.

Re: Alan Grayson: No One Cares About Your Feelings
Congress CAN take over the fed and manipulate the money supply directly. Who do you think created it in the first place? Who do you think keeps amending the Federal Reserve Act?

I don't know if I've said this before, but Man, you suck at trolling.

Re: Alan Grayson Says Don't Get Sick
No legislative record? I'm not sure how much you expect a guy to get done in his first nine months, but you do know that Grayson joined Congress this January and had a bill written and passed through the house by April, right?
I find it interesting that you have no problem with criticizing Grayson for making a (by your implication) Wilson-esque move but never really seemed to care about the Wilson.

Re: Putting faith in its place
You wanted a real debate? It seems like you just want to make snide, sarcastic comments.

Re: The Return of McCarthyism
It's certainly not "very clear" in the video you linked to. This, however, makes it much more clear. http://crooksandliars.com/2008/02/14/countdown-special-comment-on-fisa-president-bush-is-a-liar-and-a-fascist#comment-407920
The phrase "trust me" is the least persuasive phrase in the English language.

Re: The Return of McCarthyism
I'm not saying he never did it- just that I don't remember it. That video doesn't really clear anything up. Just a few very short clips without any context.

Re: The Return of McCarthyism
Did Olbermann ever actually call him a fascist? I never saw that video.
