Re: Red Bull Motorcycle Hillclimbing, 1998
This is definitely a young mans sport. I remember the days when I could ride dirt bikes back in the mid 90s. What fun it was.

Thanks for the post! It brings back good memories.

Re: David Foster Wallace: This is Water, Commencement Speech
Absolutely. Wisdom comes with age. Most people graduate college in their twenties. I couldn't focus on a bachelor's degree until my mid thirties. I spent my teens and early twenties supporting sex, drugs, and rock and roll until I finally realized that I would not succeed in life with that life style.

Maturity and patience go hand in hand. Keep calm and carry on also aligns with this rational.

A good commencement address indeed.

Re: A Petition for Stronger Gun Laws
This is always going to be a difficult call. I own guns and archery for their intended purpose. Hunting food. That is all I do with them and that is all I will ever do with them unless I am forced to defend myself against an intruder. Hunt or be hunted is the rule many choose to live by. I don't necessarily live by that rule, but I don't discount it either. Being civil to my fellow man is my first rule. If my fellow man cannot be civil to me, I am prepared to defend myself. A simple rule to live by.

Re: Logan's Run: CATS!
Thanks for the post. I haven't seen any reference to Logan's Run in over twenty years. I guess I have been running in different circles. A very cool scene. Much appreciated.

Re: run
I found this video really disturbing and pretty sick. Why would you post this?

This is not at all the Milk And Cookies style and it is trash.

Please refrain from posting anything like this in the future.

Re: Ze Frank: True Facts About The Dung Beetle
This kind of reminds me of Mutual Of Omaha's Wild Kingdom with Marlin Perkins. They used to show some strange stuff from time to time.

very funny.
