Re: Mass: We Pray, the Video Game
LOL
Gotta say, pretty well covered up too. I was unable to locate the real people behind this skit other than a "Rua Dr. Brito Camara" (probably a fake name) who created the domain.

Re: Between Two Ferns: Andy Richter, Conan O'Brien
While it wasn't the greatest episode, still 5 stars for posting a new Between Two Ferns. I love how far that guy is willing to push things.

Re: Science of Scams: Ouija Board Revealed!
Draw two intersecting lines on a piece of paper pointing north, south, east and west (pretty much like the lines on an xy graph)
Get the person to hold a pendulum still as possible above the intersection and tell them not to move their arm at all but in their mind to think "left, right, left, right" over and over again. The pendulum will eventually start to move like that and then tell them to do the same for "up, down", then clockwise etc.
The will pretty quickly realise that it's possible for their mind to control their movements without them knowing it.

http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2266493#prod_prodinfo
A product by Hasbro!
There were 122 reviews on the product when I checked it. From the first couple I read the people seem to believe it is very real. I can't imagine somebody would buy one of these if they knew how it really worked. Unfortunately people believe a lot of stupid shit, even smart people.

Re: Science of Scams: Ouija Board Revealed!
You guys miss the point. It's about having one definitive video that clearly proves that they aren't real and explains the reason people fall for them. So next time some idiot claims to you that they are real you can point them to this video and not have to bother with them any more.
I think the video and the site it's associated with is really quite good.

Re: Psychics Respond to James Randi
Thanks for posting it spam, that was a fantastic vid. Putting together all the famous "psychics" who have refused to take the test. I love this vid and will be showing it to others.

Re: Juggling German Hammer Guy
A viral ad for a hammer company called OBI (http://www.obi.de/de/) done by this ad agency:
http://www.dialog-solutions.de/beispiele.php
I really don't know what it is about these viral ads but there's just something strange that makes it obvious that it's been staged. It's almost like they all follow the exact same formula for presentation that I am picking up on subconsciously.

Re: James Randi at Caltech: A Word on PhDs
That explains why he hasn't done any posts in the last couple of months. :(
Hope he's right about the full recovery.

Re: Dating Game: Steve Martin, 1968
Really? That's the best they could come up with for a "pre-programmed" response?
By: gerrywastaken

OK, well I'd point out that the article doesn't include a response from Andy.
To me the guy seems very insecure. Also humor is very imperfect, especially for comedians who are going for shock factor. They often stuff up and highly offend greatly. I'd like to see an interview with him where he was told not to tell a single joke or be funny. If he could do it I'd imagine you would see a very different person who doesn't seem like such a "dick"
