Re: The Invisible War
While I realize nothing is perfect, which is certainly true in the case of non-lethal weapons, you can't ignore how much potential they have. You can't discredit the entire arsenal of non-lethals designed to keep the public out of harms way by citing a handful of regrettable but minor incidents. I'm not suggesting that they're perfect, and I certainly acknowledge the fact that some of these "non-lethal" weapons are horrible dangerous and prone to accident injuries. However, I don't understand the bad rep they've been receiving as of late (excluding the microwave emitting laser... I mean, come on :D).

Re: The Dancing Weather Girl
Dude, she's the weather girl. How insightful must one be? Let her be hot, all she has to do is understand basic meteorology and read a teleprompter.

Re: Jarhead: F'in Short Version
Hmm... ebaums stole this today. no surprise. what did surprise me, however, was that they basically stole the description as well.

"This editing of the movie Jarheads ALMOST makes it bearable."

how low can you get? I mean, at least steal it and make it your own, right?

Re: Bill Maher Gives Audience an Ass Kicking
Hmmm.... it did sound like she was about to defend them, didn't it? Apparently, the 1st ammendment extends to private companies by telling them how to run their private business, who knew! And here I am, silly ol' me, thinking that the 1st ammendment was directed at the government! You learn new things every day.

Re: Tonight Show With Jay Leno: Barack Obama
The only coverage it seems that this guy gets is people talking about how he never gets himself on TV, and he rejects invitations to talk shows. Looks like he's finally done it! That's alright though, it only took him, oh, a year.

Re: Jimmy Justice: Cop Makes Illegal U-Turn
what a prick... the guy just sits there filming cops waiting for them to screw up? then calls them boobs when they drop things? sure what she did was illegal, but it seems to me that this guy is just one of those dudes going around looking for trouble so he can have it on film. that's low.

Re: Tom DeLay Gets Standing Ovation
boo hoo, so a republican audience on a republican show airing on a republican station likes a republican. is that such a bad thing?

the same argument could be made for the colbert report and the daily show. some shows just attract a certain crowd, and this one's republican.

Re: Daily Show: Alan Greenspan
yeah, I'm disappointed he didn't. well, it is for comedy. we shouldn't tune into comedy central expecting to find hard hitting questions.

Re: Daily Show: The Emmys and OJ Simpons
It's not really funny how they all said the Vegas thing, I mean it looks funny if you haven't seen all of the clips yet. In his "explanation" for why he "didn't" do it, and that it "wasn't him" on those tapes he made an "I thought what happened in Vegas stays in Vegas" comment.
