The mudrucking and lies told during the McCain and Palin rallies are over the top. It speaks volumes that when people "boo" when Obama mentions McCain, Obama stops them but when people at McCain/Palin rallies scream "terrorist", nothing is said.

We're not in a dry spell. People are just watching the wrong channels. PBS has released some great cartoons targeted at the same age demographic as the ones mentioned above:
Wordgirl (english), Maya and Migel (culture, etc), and Cyberchase (math).
If you include younger kids, you can add Word World, Super Why, and Curious George to the list of relatively new cartoons.

Level 76 16212. I still had half a pie at 70.
I used impact cannon 1s (Heavy - Impact ) near the ant hole. Once I upgraded the others near the hold to missle launcher, I upgraded the impact cannons to ice cannons. Near level 50, I placed a cannon for a sonic pulse (Heavy - Double - Sonic Pulse). I probably should have placed the next gun near the center and placed another sonic pulse. You don't want the sonic pulse too close to the hole or it may steer ants with pie to the hole.
Ice has the added benefit of slowing the ants down. Another strategy is to always focus on an ant even if none has pie. A quick kill may get you enough points for another cannon or an upgrade.
