The thing is, he says that constantly - the "I don't know right now but I'll get back to you." It's his catch-phrase for getting out of any question he doesn't want to answer, and he uses it often.

We've already heard it at least a dozen times just during his campaign. He's contradicted himself more times than I can count, and it's all documented on YouTube, FactCheck.org and loads of other places.
The guy is either too damn old to remember anything he says or does, OR he's just a liar. Either one is pretty damn bad and makes him a horrible candidate.

That's what happens, it's nothing new.
The good, intelligent stuff gets tossed because there are more vapid dipshits in front of the TV than intelligent people with a clue, and some taste. This is why we have the endless barrage of reality TV shows and other regurgitated, mindless bullshit. People don't want it, mostly because they're either too stupid to know any better or so gullible that they'll happily eat what the networks feed them no matter how bad it smells.

Clearly that was their objective, but Bill Moyers humiliated the guy pretty well all on his own without stooping to using Barrys own tactics against him. Moyers wasn't even impolite.
The real point is that you don't need to act like the pseudo-journalist asswipes from Fox "News" to do your job, even when ambushed like that. Bill Moyers didn't need to, so the reporters that chased after Barry didn't need to either (but did so anyway even after watching Moyers handle himself like an adult). THAT is the point.

More reasons why Bill Moyers is such an amazing guy and one hell of a journalist. The look of total defeat on Porter Barrys face after Moyers finished with him was priceless.

These clips are all Hollywood'ized - granted some of them are very accurate, but they're still fiction. We're not watching real death, and we know it.
Now, or a few years from now, we'll be seeing the same... but with real footage from Iraq and Afghanistan. Real casualties and real death. I wonder if it'll make any difference.
