i doubt its really much skill. It probably comes from hours of running the level over and over again moving things slightly. Its really just a skill in patience.

Could have been longer. First time I lost, second time I decided not to spend all my money and beat it really easy and quickly. I was looking forward to the next round and trying out new powers/strategies, but then it was done.

There are some serious deficiencies in this game. Like the autosave saves at the beginning of a battle. So if you attack a town that's too tough for you. Oh well. you're screwed. No chance to back out. no recent save? all progress lost.
