Re: War sucks

This war is so sanitized and simplified from a mass media perspective that images like the ones you saw are sometimes the only way for people to judge the scale of our actions there. Those are just confirmed American soldiers killed not contractors and certainly not countless dead civilians that we rarely see on television. If we did see all of the dead bodies like we did on TV in Vietnam the Iraq war could even be over due to mass protest. Bush admin knows this that's why the members of the media are generally shut out of war zones and even intentionally killed.
9/11 and Saddam Hussein are not linked, this has been looked again and again. No WMDs, no relation to 9/11 but some people will continue to support this war because they're too afraid to change their minds.
