Re: Sarah Brightman: I Lost My Heart To A Starship Trooper
LOL This is great! :D I love cheesy stuff like this - so bad it's good. It has that Zlad feel to it... though he was very deliberate with the cheese factor in his stuff. The choreography rocked and the special effects were so 70's sweet! I could have done without the shirtless guys. I'm going to see if my wife can walk like that now, and maybe do that chicken wing-flapping thing. He he he

Re: Iced Road Bumper Cars
Oh man - that's terrible! I've gotten stuck on icy roads before, but never like that. Very scary.

Re: Rapid Fire Lego Gun
That was cool! Where were these things when I was 12? I built my own rubber band gun with a wooden board and some clothespin clips - it could shoot 8 rubber bands all at once, or when I pressed each clothespin. But this just seems cooler - rapid-fire style and all. Legos were an all around awesome toy too,

Re: Robot Chicken: The Monster Cookie Pinwheel
LOL! That was great! :D Nothing against skateboarders or anything - that was just funny. I thought they were going in a slightly different direction, but this made me laugh. Skater McGee rocks!

Re: STYX: Mr Roboto
When this song first came out, I thought it was the coolest thing on the planet. I loved it! Twenty some years later, I still love it! :D

I couldn't make it through the entire video on the link though - the damn lip-synch was annoyingly off. I have yet to see a web version of this video where the lip-synch isn't off synch. :(

Re: Inside Nintendo
I didn't get very far in to this piece either. She reports on Nintendo the way many "journalists" report on high-profile politicians or "evil" (note the quotes) CEO's of various successful companies.

Why is it such a crime to be a successful business? Any successful business got that way by stomping out this or that and by fighting legal battles when under attack. That is how business is done.

The only thing this (all five minutes I made it through) made me want to do is play some classic Super Mario Brothers, NES style!

Pretty cool game. Very irritating at times, but fun and addictive.

Re: Zubbles
Oh - the wonders I missed in my childhood. My bubbles were all so bland and boring compared to Zubbles. Why oh why did these Zubbalific inventions not surface a few decades earlier? :P

Re: Trackmaster Fantasy Showdown
Ok, that's not nearly as easy as it looks when you first start. The odd faces falling down the screen as you play are pretty cool and make the visual experience more interesting. But the game gets very difficult to keep up with and I couldn't make it through an entire round... I kind of got bored with it. But it was neat - do you try to keep your mouse pointer in the circle of the target disc, or do you try and anticipate where the target circle will move based on the zig-zagging line it is following? I tried both. I wasn't very good either way.
