People's beliefs were a little strange when the bible was written.For example,they believed that the world was flat.They believed that this "god" character showed "him"self to moses as a burning bush,perhaps jimson weed.Thunder and lightning were the signs of an angry god,rather than an exchange of ions.They even think,even though god is in the realm of the supernatural,that they are not superstitious.Oh yeah,they also believe in a thing called a devil!!!Don't let them near your kids!
