Re: Louis Theroux and the Nazis
Wow. Interesting. thanks for posting this. A little slow at points but worth watching to the end if you've the time.

I can't WAIT to see Lamb and Lynx with their infinite talent on American Idol.

As a caucasian, I believe in being proud of my race, just as anyone should be proud of their race... just like I root for my home team of the town I live in. But I do not believe in discounting others simply because they are of a certain color, creed, etc., nor do I belive in racial purity.

I am disgraced by the trash that was portrayed here as white society. Fortunately, anyone watching this documentary will see the point that these few do not represent many (they don't represent me for damn sure!), just because we share skin color (and the similarites cease there!). I'm disgusted by them. Closed minded, uneducated, uncultured fanatical white trash.

I loved it when they got to Metzger's day job... a "dangerous' man indeed.

Remember that "the most dangerous types are the ones with nothing to lose". That does then, make the "people" at the rallies very dangerous in actuality.

Re: Daft Hands: Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger
I was thinking that too... I just watched a combo of two of my favorite things on the web... music lyrics and gonzo porn; or a mashup if you will, of gonzo vs. lyrics.

Allllll to one of my favorite tunes of all times.

Now, if it'd only been a hot liitle chicks' well manicured, non-clammy little cabage smelling paws, I'd not be typing right now. Harder better faster stronger indeed.

...where I'm sure theat the highest of safety standards are strictly enforced adhered to, of course!

Seriously though, I'd kinda' question that aspect a bit... how safe is it and how othen do they inspect and change the cords (cause that long, you KNOW they're not cheap) - nonetheless I gotta' put that on my list of thigs in life to go see and do. Same goes for the ziplines mentioned below.

I just gotta' make sure to put a lump of coal between my asscheeks so I'll have myself a fresh new diamond when they pull me back up.

Time to bust out my wooly sweaters, turtlenecks and rock out a mullet.

Maybe when I talk there will, for no apparent reason, be an echo to my voice.

Re: US Hummer vs Iraq Traffic
You and the Monk need to realise that if they were to simply stop then there WOULD be an emergency medical situation... their own.

Not to say that every single time one of our troop vehicles stops, then it'll get flared or bombed, but NOT stopping makes sure that it doesn't happen. Once of prevention/pound of cure sorta' thing.

And as you could hear, they had the horn constantly going, and there were plenty of drivers that got waaay the hell outta' the way, so it's not like they don't know that the HMV isn't gonna' just wait for them.

I really really wish we could all be peaceful representatives and ambassadors over there, but you can't blame our soldiers for taking the mmeasures they need to in order to insure their safety. Instead, blame your elected officials for not being stronger to take action on what needs to be done, like getting the hell outta' there.

At $2,000,000,000 per week that we're spending on this mess, think what we could do with our own medical, educational and renewable energy resources systems HERE.

Not disagreeing with you guys at all... bumping the cars is an a-holt thing to do, but they have to to stay alive and keep from being sitting ducks.

If this bothers you, then good. It bugs me too. It bugs me enough to write a letter stating that we shouldn't have to put our soldiers into this position in the first place. I hope it bugs enough people to start doing the same after seeing enough of these types of clips.

All the best,

barrelOmonkeys

p.s. - I'm a former U.S. Army soldier and officer who worked in combat positions... just like the guys in this clip probably are.

Re: Daily Show: Rock Me Petraeus
Waait, what?!?!

I knew the stats were high, but let's just put it into all the zeros, not just a little puny letter "b" to express $2billion as 2b, but instead it looks like this: $2,000,000,000... PER WEEK!!!!

30,000 American casualties!

4,000,000 Iraqi civilians displaced, and another 2,000,000 who've fled the country.

2b per week. PER WEEK!!!

And let me also noteh that a lot of opur soldiers that died in Vietnam were killed on American-owned land, such as that of Dole fruit plantations and Goodyear rubber tree groves and plantations.

If you look at the scene in Full Metal Jacket where DaFoe's character is left behind by the blackhawk for the black pajamas to get him, a very subtle but real subliminal comment is made... llook at the trees - they are all in rows. It was filmed that way NOT by accident or for lack of shooting location.

And now our soldiers are dying on American Corporate owned soil and townships instead of for rubber to keep America's cars going, but for the oil that's under it... to keep Amrica's cars going.

As a former combat unit Army soldier who advanced into OCS (Officer's Candidate School) to become an Officer commanding my own platoon... I saw the writing on the wall and although I feel some guilt for leaving and seeing my freinds come back missing tings like arms, ears, eyes and their souls... I cannot deny that I know I'm not fighting for someone else's greed to keep their summer home in the Hamptons.

I said 4 years ago to my friends. "You just watch. This will be the Vietnam of our generation."

I wish I was wrong.

War: sparked by oil, fueled by greed.

Re: Johnny Cash: God's Gonna Cut You Down

My favorite Johhny Cash song of all.

And I have a lot of favorites from him.

"Sinners make the best saints".

"JC RIP"

... at first I thought Bono meant "Jesus Christ", but then realized JC was actually Johnny Cash... or was it?

That's the magic that is Bono with scores of double meanings in his lyrics, particularly towards religious double entendres - and once again here - to the late and very great Man in Black.

Johnny, you're truly missed.

Your admitted days of being a sinner made you a great saint indeed.

R.I.P. J.C.

He reminds me a LOT of Jack White.

I'll be looking this guy up. Brilliantly delivered. Powerful and chilling.

"Dick'll make you slap somebody"

While I'm FULLY aware that this bitch is just plain damn krayyyyy-zee, I'll also wager that she gets some serious freak on... which makes me wanna' put the hurtin's to her in the naughtiest of ways. Providing she don't go all up in my grill an' slap me.

So am I the only one who has a bizarre fetish for her? I know, I know, it's like a train wreck... I know it's bad and ugly and I'll be mentally scarred - but I just can't look away.

Knuckleheads, it is SO bush-bashing.

Irony. IIIIIIrony.

"Many lost, but tell me who has won?", are NOT exactly words you'd ever hear this stubborn, profiteering greedy bastard utter aloud.
