As far as I know, he used the speed king pedal like Bonham. Unfortunately being a drummer for Page and Plant isn't a lucky job because Michael Lee died last year because of an epileptic seizure.

It is interesting that this is the first occasion I ever heard of where Kinski switched from his highly articulated, almost overemphasized pronunciation to a dialect spoken in Berlin. He said "aleene" instead of "alleine" (which means alone). He must have been really pissed off considering the huge effort he always put into his pronunciation.

Just to defend myself: The show is german, and as a german I find this as boring as you do. This show is classic senior citizen entertainment back here in old europe. Unfortunately it is still one of the most famous shows here, mainly because every third person is a senior these days. Damn f***ed-up demographics...

Unfortunately they don't tell the name of the river. But the bus driver is from Oberweningen in Switzerland, near the borders to Germany and Luxembourg. So I would say this bridge should be somewhere in that area too.

Exactly. But ""There might be a god or there might not be one; we have absolutely no way of telling." would be too long for one bus, wouldn't it? ;) As they all say: The simple sentence "There's probably no god." does exactly what it's purpose was. People discuss about it. It's neither a clear statement of an atheist nor a believer. It's just a reason to think about it all.

You are right, spam, and also is Izzard. "Ich bin ein Berliner" can mean both, but in this context "I am a donut." wouldn't seem seem logical for those who listened to the speech. "Ich bin ein..." just means "I am one of many...".
