(my friend's work) It's Smart for your time. And if you can't follow the socio-political principles called into question, you can just watch the fancy eye candy! Enjoy!

Re: Walking Man Statues Unveiled
Insightful comments. Thank you.

The first one I did was made of wood & mirror: seen here @ www.thewalkingmanproject.com

The second one was steel, painted green, for forward progressive association. He toured town a few weeks here & there to ramp up advertising while I sold the idea.

The next batch #s 3-33 (as seen here) primed white as a blank canvas which I now give to local artists to paint & decorate (adding depth & dimension) as we move forward with our community collaborative exhibition.

I feel the posture is determined, with a head focused & set towards a goal or destination. (sorry I don't know Dilbert, but I heard he strips for a living...?)

"Walking Man" parallels our economic growth / struggle after our factories closed down. Come visit, we are far from sprinting in the race of urgency. We are slowly moving forward.

Re: Walking Man Statues Unveiled
As an artist, my goal with this installation project is to photograph the 10’ Walking Man sculptures coming together in unity to purify & bless the land before our summer exhibition. For the photo shoot they will be positioned “walking” around the former industrialized zone, moving forward into the city as an iconic symbol of mankind’s progressive ideal. My aim through the project is to psychologically motivate the City of Anderson by engaging visitors and residents to celebrate the arts and take charge of their future economy!

Re: American Juggalo (NSFW)
Dear Ashley @ 16:19, please take the cigarette out of your baby's mouth when addressing the camera because you look like the village idiot.

@ 16:47 She say's/repeats, "It takes a village to raise a child...." And oh how right she is! However...a tad bit misguided as to whom the child will be raised by! Here as an individual tax payer in her "village" of Muncie Indiana, we call this mysterious village the FSSA welfare system.

Thanks for posting this video. I enjoyed it on many levels. It was both informative & educational into "Juggalo culture" and allowed me to see my tax dollars hard-(ly) at work.

Re: Snoopy - Helicopter Flying
Another justifiable reason might be proven with Jimmy Leeward's Reno Air Show Crash on September 16, 2011

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4czBtODrm0U

However, there will and are those who argue that even spectators know the risks and must hold themselves liable when attending such events....

Re: Snoopy - Helicopter Flying
Amazing stunts, yes.

To answer the commentator's question about our entertainment standards... I don't think you'll see a public show like this anytime soon in the states.

I asked my insurance agent (Ed Norton) to give me a quote on covering a show like this today and he said:

You take the number of Ford Pintos or Snoopy Helicopters in the field (A) and multiply it by the probable rate of failure (B), multiply the result by the average out-of-court settlement (C). A times B times C equals X. If X is less than the income generated at your air show, we don't cover one.

Re: Creepy Talking Robot Mouth
If anyone cares:

It is the Ra Ri Ru Re Ro sounds from the Japanese alphabet: ?????

Linguistically, it is probably the most difficult phonetic pronunciation for non-native speakers to produce.
