Nice, but IMHO it doesn't really say much. No clear evidence is presented and backed up by theories, or vice versa.
I just thought that it was funny to see Quagmire as a voice of reason for once and have Brian shot down from his pedestal. Kinda makes the audience take a look at themselves. Functional comedy for once in Family Guy. So perhaps there is something to it, but I don't see MacFarlane pushing or even repeating this gag or message.
