Re: CBC, Steven and Chris: Exotic Pets
As a canadian, I can say without harm that Steven and Chris are a bit of an anomaly.

No one is really sure of what they do. All we know is they're gay ,which to our TV producers meant a) they're funny, b) they're good at fashion and c) they can design a mean house.

So naturally, they have 4 TV shows in which they exhibit their gaypabilites. With all due respect, of course.

Re: David Letterman: Stupid Human Tricks: 11/18/09
Yeah, I can't understand why he didn't just carbon-copy his mannerisms from the video to the Letterman appearance. Nerves a factor, obviously, but the national TV audience have missed out on something AMAZING.

Re: First-Person Base Jumping in Switzerland
They probably don't have the balls to do something so suicidal.

Oh. Wait...

Re: Extreme Base Jumping in Wingsuits
I have to assume they might have sponsors of some sort that give them free equipment.

Either that or they buy second hand skis, which is much more bad-ass in my opinion.

I shed tears. I am not afraid to admit it. This was epic, epic funny.

Re: Pinhead and Balloons
Ahh, yes, that's it. The same principle applies to air if it passes quickly between balloons or paper. I stand corrected, it wouldn't do a damn thing in this situation.

Re: Pinhead and Balloons
Isn't there a phenomena that observes fast moving air actually pulling an object closer rather than pushing it away? Anyone care to confirm my sanity?

I supposes if you knew your science, you could avoid the inevitable a bit longer than the average.

Re: Derren Brown: Real-Live Zombie Game
What I find really interesting that is people such as yourself, who have "pulled a few hoaxes" in their day, as you so elaborately put it (no details needed, I guess we'll just take your word, yeah?) feel as though they have authority to judge what they are seeing and persuade others to think the same.

If we're all honest with one another, none of us know what the fuck happened. Instead of stating with certainty that because you've "pulled a few hoaxes" in your day and haven't had Brown's level of success that this couldn't possibly be an accurate representation of what transpired, why not admit that NO ONE can know for sure, so sit back and enjoy the ride?

Douchebag? Criss Angel - Never admits he's wrong, never shows a mistake, hires paid actors, admits to using post-production.

While I may see like I'm coming across as a huge supporter of Brown, facts are that he SHOWS mistakes, he explains that things don't always work and that what he does is entertaining at best, criminal at worst (ie Card Counting, Dog Betting etc.). I don't watch his shows, I don't live in the UK, I'm basing this all on various YouTUBE clips, but I think it's safe to say that someone who can expose those people that are scared of the fact that they may not always understand what they see (hint hint) is entertaining and frankly, what more could you want?

The further we are from 1984, the closer we ultimately become.

Pictures are no longer proof.

Could someone give Neil a gold star or something? The guy is a powerhouse of interesting. Earth's ambassador? He needs to be that guy who greets the aliens.

Re: God and DNA
Watching the video for the second time, I now realize how unbelievably silly it is to try to hide the woman's identity @ minute 1:12.

If you saw someone with that condition in public, I'm quite sure you'd recognize them regardless of a little black censor bar.

Re: Denis Leary vs. Bill Hicks (Pt. 1 of 3)
Hang on, the first item of copyright in question is the phrase "whining fucking maggots"? Leary says three words and all of a sudden the whole of "No Cure for Cancer" is in question? Way to put the best foot forward.
