I completely concur with the previous commenter. I have to wonder why my best (only) friend hates Neil Degrasse and considers him part of the modern "faux geek culture." Neil spends a lot of time "talking out of his ass," sure, but he seems like a perfectly friendly person that does no more "ass-talking" than my friend or I. Perhaps my friend's experience with aspergers, (an imaginary concept to him,) corresponding superior intellect, and volatile ego fraught with insecurities have inspired a certain amount of jealousy toward the somewhat gifted thinker with an ostensible ability to relate to ordinary people better than he.
