Re: Low Clearance 2''
There are much more impressive domino videos on Youtube than this -- many by this same guy. I am not sure why this is the one you choose to put here!

Re: Master Sugoi: Origami Vagina
Why are people so ignorant about basic anatomy??

This is not an origami vagina, it is an origami vulva.

A vagina would have been a long rigged tube.

This Orgami tries to reproduce the clit, labia majora and labia minora. Together these are, more or less, the vulva, not the vagina.

This is very basic stuff, no wonder the world is such a sexually repressed.

Re: Tentacle
For once I can't give a rating, as I am torn between 5 stars and 1 star. I am completely creeped out by this short. But, that is probably the desired effect. That makes it highly effective. But I never, never want to see it again.

Re: Star Trek New Voyages: Come What May
Ok, first I must say how impressed I am with all the work that went into this. Can we say that somebody has too much time on their hands?

If I were to give the plot a grade on its own, it is at best a B-. But the plot is not on its own. It is trying to be a new 60s Trek plot. As far as being an homage to the orginal Trek from the sixties, an A+ in terms of versimilitude. The script writers deserve a standing ovation.

Which takes us to the acting. Lets face it, William Shatner and Co were a pretty campy bunch of B actors in a cheesy TV show. But the actors in this production make me realize that they were indeed professional actors. I can see what these folks are trying to channel -- and I really, really aplaud the effort. That said, I hope they all have good day jobs. An A for effort, but a C+ for delivery.

Re: Improv Everywhere: Frozen Grand Central
Nah, rather fun I say. The world deserves more random acts of humor and oddity like this

Re: Plunger Tosser
No, "America's Got Talent" is post Gulf and Iraq War stress disorder. American's are just cowboys and quicker on the draw (and quicker to crack)

Re: Checkmate, Atheists!
Ummmm.....

I am sympathetic and certainly no Christian. But this was just bad parody an not in the least funny. There a lots of really witty atheists postings here. This is not one of them .

one out of five star rating for me

Bring back Penn and Teller.

Re: Johnny Depp meets the Marimba Ponies
It is not a "pseudo English accent". It is sometimes known as a "mid-Atlantic accent", and is common with ex-patriot Americans who have lived overseas for years outside of "American Ghettos" like military bases. Johny Depp has lived in Paris for years, in this example. I have several friends and one or two relatives who speak similarly, such as my brother-in-law who was also born in the States but has spent most of his life living in France, England, Africa, and Southeast Asia.

Re: Jack Kerouac and Steve Allen: On the Road
This is possibly one of the best things every posted on M&C. I agree the setup is lame, the comments by Allen at the end are not that interesting. But just getting to here Jack read from On the Road is incredible!!!
I can't wait for the release of the unedited (uncensored) version of On the Road.
