It's hard to appreciate how hard this is to actually do. I've been flying rc helos for a couple months, and this type of flying (3d) takes a lot of time, effort and money to master. His toy is probably $2000 including the radio.

There are bylaws and traffic acts pretty much everywhere which prevent the posting of signs and other things like this on and around roadways. Still, I'd like to see more of this type of thing to wake people up...
