The motto at the end of the video says, "Pssst... Do something," and then goes on to explain that I can help combat this misinformation by sending this video to five of my friends. None of my friends on my emaill list--and I'm fairly sure about this--are part of that 13% of Americans who still believe Obama's a Muslim. How do I know this? Because (try to follow me here) they have email accounts, which means they have internet access, which means they're not sitting on a porch in the foothills of West Virginia firing a shotgun up at passing airplanes.

In the mean time, a journalist who speaks up for what he believes is right, risking his own job security, will still have more balls than some punk who anonymously posts a four-word rebuke of said journalist.
If I hurt your feelings, be careful to express it only through anger, or else your penis might fall off. That's the big concern, right? If a guy watches a political party drag his dead friends around in order to keep everyone in constant fear--so they can build up the need for their candidate--that guy's a pussy if he expresses his pain by any means other than righteous indignation and yelling? Palin just confirmed that her daughter, 17, is pregnant. She says the two kids will marry and raise the child together. I'm sure that a marriage based on that kind of foundation (one in which an entire political party is holding the shotgun to you) will go as smooth as silk. Lahiem!

Yeah, this is a little bit of a stretch; Down Syndrome iis far, far more likely to occur when the mother is over 40 (like Gov. Palin is) than even a 38 year old, much less a 16 year old. Though, I don't know why she'd hide it all that time.

Sorry, on review I see that she said, "Fucking do it again!" Which could be perceived as a threat. He had a hand on each end of the baton, and pushed forward. It'd be hard to convince any jury that that was an abusive move, since it's hard to even bruise someone like that.
And look, I'm not Bill O'Reilly; I don't have an "America: love it or leave it" attitude. But as someone who does believe protest can be an effective catalyst for change if done correctly, I see organizations like Code Pink as giving activists a bad name. I'm sorry, but I just see this as an un-funny reenactment of the "Now we see the violence inherent in the system!" scene from the Holy Grail.

All we're seeing is a moment, edited down to a fragment. That is, we're not seeing the whole story. Is the cop a dick? Probably. But are we seeing any clear abuse? Hard to say with 36 seconds of footage shot by a group that's known for theatrical demonstrations. He pushed her back, after she stepped toward him and said "Hit me again," and then she fell in a very dramatic way. But even if she didn't let herself fall down, she certainly made a spectacle of being on the ground like a professional soccer player. And what did she do to get arrested? Again, hard to say. 36 seconds of yelling doesn't exactly tell me much about her guilt or innocence.
