Re: Logical Fallacies of Common Religious Arguments
I rate it as a 4. It provides some good points of discussion, and definitely some things to keep in mind when considering an argument critically. On atheism, though, he really provides no positive argument, nor does he provide evidence that theism is incorrect, but tactfully leaves it in the viewer's hands to decide for themselves whether or not this condemning of pieces of the religious argument changes their minds or reinforces it in either direction. As for me, I am not moved either way, for as I said, he provided little or no argument in favor of atheism, but now I definitely know what to look for next time I listen in on a debate or sit in a pew for a sermon.

Disagree? Cool, maybe you could point out something I might have missed.

P.S. I will note that he 'attacks the man' at the beginning, ironically number one on his list. ;)

Re: Circulo 2
It's an enjoyable game, whether it's easy or not. And I won't lie and say the music didn't really improve my rating. Maybe I'm just in a happy mood, but this game is pretty good. Abcdef 5!

Re: Stupid iPhone Lady
I love how, once she realizes her mistake, she is never seen again. :/

Also, was it just me, or did the reporter say his name was 'Steve MelloYello'?

Re: Invisible Rope
Maybe not today, and maybe not tommorow, but sometime in my college life, I am going to try that. :D

Re: What are the known issues with the new site?
And then right now, at least a day later, my score has gone up to something a bit more reasonable.

Are they updating on a daily basis now?

Re: What are the known issues with the new site?
I believe I have a bug, and I have not found anything related to it in this or other pages.

As an M&C newbie, I'm quite interested in how many points I'm accumulating. However, since the change, my points appear to have frozen to the same number they were before the switch.

Indeed, if you take a look at my user page, you'll see that 3 of my links have been made permanent, while the point screen only shows 2 in the 'Links' category. Number of hits as well as votes have also remained frozen.

Refreshing the page didn't help. Running Firefox on XP. Blahdy so-forth.

Thanks!

Re: Pistol Shrimp
Duh! I thought I recognized 'Pistol Wimp' resembling something other than 'Pistol Whip', but I couldn't remember.

So, a random, maybe-deserved thank you for hubblemedia for this chance encounter between me and realization.

Re: Madness Combat 7: Consternation
Augh! That Adventure Quest ad was driving me crazy! Why, crappy internet? Why dost thou tormentst me so?!

Slower? Yeah. A good bit slower than I've come to expect from these movies. And a lot of the focus has been shifted from well-choreographed fight scenes to more graphic fight scenes. And honestly, more blood and gore isn't what makes a movie great.

Re: Family Guy: Peter vs Chicken, Fight 1
It finally all makes sense now. Bummer. I had only seen the second clip, and I assumed it was just Peter being Peter as he beat the crud out of some random chicken. There was no explanation needed.

Although I did really like the twist in the third clip.

Re: West Wing: Fighting Scripture with Scripture
As devout a Christian I am, there's not much to debate here, for the sole reason that few opinions are going to be changed by some statement on a comment board.

Re: Haloid
I actually thought, the first time I saw this, that it was the simple result of losing bladder control after witnessing such a display of "this is how I'm about to kill you."
