Accurate and to the point, it was a nice one indeed.

Re: Bill O'Reilly Interviews Barack Obama Pt 4
Hah, yeah. It's my secret hope that during this entire interview, O'Reilly was thinking "Oh my God, I'm SOOOO voting for Obama".

Re: Stardust: Robert De Niro in a Tutu
Agreed. Watched it for a laugh a couple weeks ago, and lo and behold I quite enjoyed it. It deserves a place among fantasy classics.

Re: Creationism Museum
While I'm not one to defend religious viewpoints, I agree with your first paragraph. To try to hinge the merit of a book like the Bible on such a small thing is petty (besides, the Bible offers way better fodder anyways).
In regards to your second and third paragraphs, I believe what the engineer was trying to get at wasn't so much that an understanding of biology furthers America's technological competitiveness, but rather that an institution such as the Creation Museum only undermines America's ability to remain competitive. Deduction, reason, analysis, experimentation, critical thinking, and above all a desire to know more, is what provides a future for a country, be it in whatever field. Replacing that with blind faith only serves to bring about obsolescence.
On a side note, I found it interesting that the 'protesters' spoke eloquently, had a firm grip on the subject matter, and weren't making demands of the Creation Museum, or it's patrons. Of course, that part may have been editted out.

Re: Robot Chicken: Born in a Manger
Well I'm a worshipper of the sun god Mithras, and I find the Nativity to be quite an insult to the true symbol of Dec. 25th.

Re: Student Freaks out after Hitting Level 60 in WoW
Why not cut out the middle man and kill the player instead? Guaranteed to happen if he does this during exam time.

Re: Disappearing Car Door
Oh look, it's the middle of winter and my car door has frozen shut, wonderful.

Re: Jesus Protects Us from Being Poisoned
STFU gypo, you obviously didn't understand the intent of q335r49's post. I'm amazed at the reactionary idiots who latch on to a single word or phrase without trying to understand the context with which it's used in. Reread his post and see if you can figure out what he's really saying. Oh, and it's alluded, not eluded, dumbass.

I don't think I'll ever figure out why people post that they don't think something is funny. It's like hanging out at the grocery store and telling everyone that buys carrots that you personally don't like the taste of carrots. What's the point?
