I don't get it. This seems like one of the most pointless exercises ever.
If he doesn't prove some asteroid hit the earth to cause a flood, then he looks like an idiot (which, you know, he does).
If he DOES prove it it means no God ever caused any great flood. A meteor did it, and that meteor could have come from anywhere.
Lastly I don't get how this has to do with creationism. He's trying to justify Noah's flood. Unless creationism covers that or something and I just didn't know o_O
Anyway, if you're going to go forward with "God made everything" you probably shouldn't try to explain how it could have been done without him.

Have you seen the most recent daily shows? He contradicts what he's said on a day to day basis.
Like the one where he said one day that hesitation due to the democratic pressure toward setting a specific date the troupes would have to leave Iraq would keep them there longer, and then the very next day he declares he's doubling (or something to that effect) all active soldiers' tour of duty.
So he's shortening the troupes' time in Iraq by lengthening it. Yeah, what?
He doesn't make sense anymore and I'm pretty sure he doesn't care. Luckily Congress seems to finally be taking steps to counteract him.

I wanted to say something else.
The vast majority of the US is Christian, Catholic, Jewish, or Muslim. If we all wanted creationism to be taught, you'd damn well better know it'd happen and there's nothing you could possibly do about it short of run away.
But we don't. It's the rednecks, the crazies, the evangelicals that the media is interviewing, with a minority of generally confused Catholics following along because their government-like religious structure is telling them to. Some states are unlucky enough to have a big enough following that it might happen, and I mourn for it just as much as the rest of you. Why the hell can't church and state keep a little more separate? -_-
