Re: Howie Mandel's First HBO Special
Wow. Not only was he the original Carrot Top, but it looks like he was crazy on something! Was Howie a big coke head?

Re: MADtv: Coach Hines Steroid Bust
I love the Coach Hines bits, and MadTV is the closest we've had to the original Carol Burnett type comedy in a while. The best MADtv bits have these guys trying to break eachother up.

Re: Whose Line is It Anyway: Questions with Wigs
After watching the original, it took me a while to warm up to the american version, but clips like that showed why it was such a great show!

Re: A Clockwork Orange: Ultraviolence First Scene
I just finished the book. Anthony Burgess was not a fan of the movie, as it ended prematurely. The original book had an extra chapter that was not published in the american verison.

Still a damn fine movie, though.

Re: Homeland Security: Obedience Training
I'll have to watch it all later, when I'm not on lunch, but I'm surprised those are allowed. Here in Indiana, even drunk driving checkpoints are considered unconstitutional. Unreasonable search and seizure, something like that.

Re: John Pinette - Just for Laughs
John is one of the most unappreciated and underrated comics out there. It's nice to see him slimming down and still going!

Re: Woody Woodpecker: Woody Woodpecker
I've always liked Mel Blanc, but Woody was just too much like Daffy. I don't know which came first. The later voices for Woody Woodpecker were a bit better.

Re: Fox News on Atheist's "Thou Shalt Not Steal" Sign
Could her skirt BE any shorter?

AND...

Should someone break the news to them that Christmas was originally a pagan holiday that had nothing to do with the birth of Christ?

Re: The Amazing Mr. Bickford
I wonder if he is the same artist whose work was showcased in the Zappa Movie Baby Snakes?

Re: Airplane!: Johnny the Office Boy
I remember how sad I was when I found out Stephen Stucker died in 86! I don't know how many movies he was in, but he seemed like a rare comedic talent.

Re: Chemical Brothers: Get Yourself High
Wow. What a great way to start my day! I hadn't heard any Chemical Brothers in quite a long time. I might have to dig up my one and only CB CD!

Re: Obama Punches Back
Yes. The country came together after 9/11, and for a brief moment the world had sympathy for America.

Leave it to Dubya to throw all that goodwill away.

Re: The Best Bits of Mr. Bean
The dentist bit was good, but Tim Conway did it much better back in the day.
