Seriously, what you have said is utterly backwards. You couldn't be more wrong. The truth is, it takes absolutely NO talent or witt to create gags that aren't inherent to the plot like family guy's.

Furthermore, family guy's jokes are in NO way clever, how is a ten-minute fight with a giant fucking chicken funny? Seth Mcfarlane is comedically inept (There's a reason family guy never made a counter parody against South Park, and that's because FG's writing staff lack the witt to do so)

I digress - to an end, South Park is vastly superior to family guy, but each to their own i guess, the creaters/staff of each show have made a shit load of money doing what they enjoy, if family guy wants to cater to pre-pubescent teens then that's fine, it's still success, per se.
