ain't that the truth...remember when the latest links got put up in a sidebar with different colors to depict hit counts, with links over 500 hits receiving the 'hot' tag. Remember when a new pingu game would catch over 10k hits in less than a day...ah yes, much has changed, now we see headlines that gather less than 1k hits in over a week on the front page. Still, like you say, it's still one of my favorite lurking spots on the net and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
