Re: Aviador Dro: Laser
These guys look like a laugh. I would have loved to have seen them live.

Re: Dorm Slip n Slide
If only my halls were that interesting. Perhaps I shall have to take the initiative.

Re: Asian Girls Are Dangerous
Some people pay good money for that kind of treatment off a young lady.

Re: Worst Weatherman
Jesus, this guy was nervous. I can't imagine he was a weather forecast commentator for long. Just as well these guys have autoqueues nowadays.

Re: The Worst Cartoon Ever Made
"Actually quite funny". Well, no. The title I'm afraid is fairly accurate.

Re: Isle Figa
Engrish is always amusing to read, especially when some tripped out guy makes a point and click game.
On one of the screens, this exercept, describes what's going on.
"These mouses are the guards of the cave. The legends says they have no idea what they are doing there!"
All I can say is...wtf?

Re: Quaint Room
Probably an alright game if you know Japanese, but I do wonder why someone bothered to post this.

Re: Go F#*@ Yourself, Mr. Cheney
If only people in my country would say that to "President" Blair.

Re: Troy's Mixtape of Love
After listening to his recorded drivel, I'm not surprised she broke up with him. This recording isn't funny, it just makes him sound like a tragic loser.

Re: Katrina's Impact
The 9/11 event was in itself truly horrific, perhaps a reminder to America that it is not universally loved, for manifold reasons, whether misguided or no.
The devastation of the Hurricane Katrina however, is perhaps going to remain in American history books for a very long time to come. Beyond the sheer fact of the number of people who’ve lost their lives, the annihilation of a great city and everything associated with it, the temporary impact on the global oil economy (the conspiracy theorists are having a whale here on devising bullshit on this); and the vulnerability we can all be potentially exposed to, because of our dependence on so many basic things.
What is most interesting, is that this disaster simulates what could happen in a post-apocalyptic situation, water, food, oil, etc, are scarce, human fights human to the death. People loot, because as it is now, they can/could get away with it, but will they be able to retain their material prizes. Is it worth stealing electronic goods to get shot at/by the national guard? I make an exemption of course for essential items (i.e. food, water, medicine), but what if the water level of New Orleans continues to flood, they’ll lose it anyway. Why the f**k did someone take a pot shot at one of helicopters brought in to rescue people? Were they resentful because they themselves weren’t rescued at that instance; mere selfishness I deem. My faith in humanity has dwindled since then.
Returning to the original theme of the actual post, I think the narration of the photos are fairly neutral, but in a way cold, considering the severity of the problem. I sincerely hope that maybe something will be learnt from this, especially not building a huge city on a blatant flood plain.

Re: Stewie Stuffs his Diaper
I've noticed this new season of Family Guy that they've uped the ante somewhat in terms of adult humour, verging on slightly wrong at times. Good stuff as far as I'm concerned.

Re: Cats in Sinks
Awwww...how cute. Shame cats aren't so fond of sinks though, when they're full of water or if you turn the tap on heh heh.
