Re: Loh Tsui Kweh Commune
Hmm, kind of like a Taiwanese cross between the Village People and Kids In The Hall... with some simulated sex thrown in.

Even so, their annual birthrate is still dropping like a stone.

Re: Night Shift
It happened to a coworker when we were out on a survey in a remote area. He got the telltale stomach rumble and wandered into the bush to take a dump. Back then, he wore a one-piece rainsuit with an attached hood. He thought that he'd tucked the top half far enough under to avoid pooping on it, but instead he crapped into the hood. When he was done, he pulled the rainsuit up and flipped the hood onto his head.

If it had been a relatively dry crap, I don't think he would have reacted so badly. But, since it was a wet one, he had a reaction similar to the guy in the Flash movie.

Now, every year, that story comes out when the field season starts. He will never live it down! :-D

Re: Bengali Pepsi Factory
My favourite is the second-to-last photo in which the workers hold the filled bottles up to a light bulb to see if there are any "floaties" in them. :-D

Re: Toyota HiLux-Outta The Way, Sheep Shagger!
Whoops! Obviously, I forgot to add some breaks in the description.I hope that everyone can decipher it. Sorry about that...

Re: Real Men of Genius: Silent Killer Gass Passer
Actually, he's not really a wannabe. He's Dave Bickler, former lead vocalist for Survivor (of "Eye Of The Tiger" fame).

Re: The Freaky Universe of McDonald's Ads
Hmm, I don't remember a pirate. Are you thinking of Hamburglar, perhaps?

Re: Deciduous
Nope. The "Low Morale" animations are done by Laith Bahrani who runs Monkeehub Creative.

"Deciduous" was created by Michael Chen (a highschooler) for the 2005 National Youth Week talent competition.

Re: Speeding Hurts
Actually, the ad should be addressing driver inattentiveness rather than speeding. The driver appears to fiddle with his radio just before the cyclist veers into his path. If the driver had been paying attention, then perhaps he could have avoided the cyclist.

Re: Yes this sucks
Jaxon,

Actually, there are now two errors in the blurb:

1) The song's title is misspelled -- it's "Valerie", not "Velerie".

2) The song was first released on Winwood's "Talking Back To The Night" album in August, 1982.

:-)

Re: Redefined: A Cappella Nintendo Medley
Their rendition of the Tetris music with accompanying "graphics" was most impressive! :-)

By the way, here's a direct link to the video if you feel that you must bypass the site's commentary, graphic bits, and ads:

Re: Yankee or Dixie?
Although I'm in Canada, I scored 53% Dixie. Might be because I've mostly lived/worked in rural areas.

Re: Baseball game plane crash
I suppose that he was just expressing his disbelief. Regardless, I agree with you that it was an inane comment.

Perhaps, he should have said something more memorable, such as "Oh, the humanity!", or something along those lines. ;-)
