Both of you are missing a point to the scene learned later. If you end up watching the next part of the movie. The woman asks the "Man in Black" that he put the poison in his own glass, but it turns out that both glasses were poisoned and the "man in black" had built up a tolerance to it over the years... So, you both were correct that the villian was going to die with the good vs evil atmosphere, but it was the trick of both glasses poisoned which makes the scene interesting.
Also, not to be a spoiler, the Man in Black does die later in the movie....

It does use the word "Fag" a couple time when taking of a cigarette. Hmm, makes you wonder why that became a degrading remark in the first place? That's like calling a gay person a smoke! "look at those two smokes over there holdin' hands" Then again, that does have a degrading "ring" as well.

Awsome, I love the intro into the this series, explosions, good music, but there is a problem I noticed in the intro. When the voice over leads into "....Maybe you can hire the A-team" which then shows the A Team. It supposed to have gunfire putting holes in the title, and the only reason I caught that, is everytime I saw this show, I would mimic like I was shooting, for the effect in all, you know how we do it.....
