All hail Joel!
I'm so glad he's coming out of hyper-obscurity again. He rocks.

I hope Sascha Baron Cohen gets in touch with this guy for his new movie. He's a natural!

See? Math = Fun!
Even though there's no dislocated appendage, I found this completely awesome. Look! you can have fun and not get hurt while still being a jackass.

Well done, if I tried to build one, it'd be far too steep.

I love being reminded that the system used to work somewhat.

Re: Leno: Patton Oswald on Harry Potter
I think it's funny how amusing Oswald is on his own. I used to see him on Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn, and blech. Since then, everytime I've seen him he's made me crack up.

Re: AKIRA
I love it in any size.
I couldn't ever find the original dubbing on DVD. I had to resort to VHS->DVD dub, which suffered, as the VHS was worn to hell from much, much viewing.

While the renovated version looks beautiful, I couldn't stand the dubbing on that version. Where could you find a DVD of the original? While it's not a horrible thing to listen to the japanese dialogue, the original engilsh has some excellent quotes, like:

'they don't teach tact at the academy'

I guess it comes down to which version you hear/see first.
