Re: Colbert Report: Mr Gravitas
great. Colbert is great. Remember, btw, that "gravitas" was the term coined by the right to describe Dick Cheney when it was announced Bush was picking him as a running mate. Of coursew, compared to George W., Pauly Shore has gravitas.

Re: Comedy Central Presents: Mitch Hedberg Pt 1
You're crazy; that donut bit is the greatest ever. I got to meet Mitch and got his autograph and everything and he was real cool. It really was a tragedy when he died (however, even he would've admitted to being influenced by Steven Wright).

Re: Diary of an Unborn Child
Abortion, when you get into the late terms, can take on Nazi-like dimensions of cruelty (to fetus, and yes, to mother). Part of the government's job is to protect the populace, so I'd say "telling people what they can and cannot do" makes perfect sense after a certain point in the pregnancy (say, the 3rd trimester), regardless if our leaders are men or not (irrelevant, much?). Political dicussions aside, this mp3 sucks. I'd rather hear fingers on a chalkboard.

Re: Roof Skater Kid
A friend of mine broke her arm snowboarding off my roof, and this was after she had done it 25-30 times. Made a lot of noise inside. Of course, I would lose nerve before doing it at all.

Re: Yes this sucks
ok, right. not a sample cause he re-sang the trax. Steve Winwood's a whore. And yes, I'm old. The kind of person who has Steve Winwood on vinyl. btw, is there an edit button on here so I don't have to double-post?

Re: Yes this sucks
I don't mind dance music. But I hate whole-sale rip-off sampling.

Yes I know Winwood re-recorded the vox trax ("SPECIFICALLY") for this song, and why wouldn't he, as he probably got a healthy chunk of change for it and got his name out in the mainstream, for awhile, anyway. Just like Sting did for Puff Daddy's "I'll Be Missing You," one of his many ripped off pieces of garbage.

I have a real problem calling "Call on Me" *Eric Prydz's* song.

I don't have a problem with sampling if it's done to supplement an already established track, but I do have a problem with it when it's a wholesale ripoff, such as this song.

However, I know I'm way in the minority on this one.

Yes this sucks
this is what I hate about remixing and sampling. It's a Steve Winwood, song, dang it (released in '86, btw, not 80), and I remember, cause I went out and bought the album on vinyl. It's a good record for what it is. This guy is riding Winwoods coattails, I guess cause he's a Puff Daddy wanna be and is too talentless to come up with his own tunes.
As for the model, she wants to be Olivia Newton John really badly and ys she's pretty, but so what?
