Re: Kendama's Note
That can't possibly be the same guys that did "matrix ping pong". Sure same game show, but they were kids; "Matrix ping pong was 4 or so adults.

Re: Jackass: Steve-O Pees on the Red Carpet
Maybe you are confusing Steve-o with Steve Urwin. Steve Urwin IS a god! Steve-o is a class A plonker!

Re: Meat
That is not c.1977. I would place it more 1995-7. If you wikipedia "Carpal Tunnel", the research pepers date back to 1997 so a film making use of this phrase in the popularised sence has to be around there-ish. The effects are very "Bad Taste" which was 1987.
Nice Ending... "My mum got carpal tunnel syndrome, and it totally ruined my life." Hehehehe!

Re: Double Guitar Solo
I found it really hard to keep a straight face though this. There is no doubt that playing a double guitar solo is very worthy of M&C agknowledgement. But why? Oh, why did I expect him to suddenly be joined by midgets dancing round a miniture stonehenge? or break out of an alien egg-thing? Maybe I like Spinal Tap too much...

Re: Dinner for One
http://www.selkirkshire.demon.co.uk/analoguesat/dinnerforone.html:-
The sketch was originally performed in the 1920's in the British music halls. The 15 minute sketch is performed by Freddie Frinton and May Warden, and was filmed by NDR in Hamburg in 1963. In the early 1970's it became a regular part of the German New Years Eve celebrations.Over the years somehow, it has become a cult classic in Germany - to the extent that its shown on almost all the regional channels at some point during over New Year, and NDR shows it 6 or 7 times during New Year's Eve! Even one of the commercial stations will find a slot to show it in such is the popularity of the sketch. But its hardly known in the place it originated from - the UK.
Actually it would appear there is more than one version of this. At the address above there are some screen grabs. Look at the chairs in the video for the m&c link, and those in the 2nd and 3rd screen grab. They're different (plus the set looks a little different). However the actors are the same. Strange...

Re: Robert Fripp - Vista Sounds
Oh bloody hell. I hate it. I think that if I am ever forced to install the DRM hell that is MSVista I will be replacing the startup sound immediately with some Florence Foster-Jenkins...

Re: Horror Images
after witches is "BettleJuice"
the one before ghostbusters 2 is "Nosferatu"
The one after psycho that you thought you knew is "Lepricaun"
And the one after is the Ring ("Ringu") I think
I have definately seen the penultimate one, but can't for the life of me work out what it is.
THe last one is Nosferatu again!
Are the two before your Salem lot guess "Hellraiser : hell on earth"?
Now I think about is it the one after the "IT" collage, "BeatleJuice" you know the scene at the end with the shrunken head.
Lots of repitition, and not very much variety. Could have been much better I think. Maybe some answers somewhere would have been nice.
