Foghorn Leghorn: Henhouse Henery 1949 release, fourth Merrie Melodies cartoon in which Foghorn, Henery and Barnyard Dog appear. Foghorn looks a bit fatter and Barnyard's (or Br'er Dog as he is referred to) voice was still changing when they appeared in `Henhouse Henery'. It must also be noted that Foghorn not only picks on Br'er Dog, but points Henery in the direction of some ducks and a turtle too. The title is a play on "Rapid Transit". Cecil and Bugs had previously raced each other in 1941's Tortoise Beats Hare and 1943's Tortoise Wins By a Hare. Bugs Bunny: Gorilla My Dreams Gorilla My Dreams is a 1948 Warner Brothers Looney Tunes theatrical animated short, starring Bugs Bunny. It was directed by Robert McKimson, and written by Warren Foster. The story is a parody of the many 'jungle' movies that were prominent in the 1930s and 40s, including the Tarzan movies. The title is a play on the expression "Girl o' My Dreams". The short featured Gruesome Gorilla, who reappeared as a boss in Bugs Bunny and Taz Time Busters. Bugs is stranded in a barrel in the middle of the ocean, but he doesn't seem to mind - he's reading Esquire magazine and singing a song. On the island of 'Bigzni Bangzni', the population is made up of gorillas that act like humans - they read the paper, have families and live in huts.
