He went home and was killed by a robot that shot rubies at him then stopped working for no apparent reason.

Apple computers don't have Ctrl-Alt-Delete, because they are magical machines which don't have memory leaks, hung processes, or exceptions.

You're richer than God Bill, and only because you ripped off ideas that were never yours. GET OVER IT and quit taking yourself so seriously.

Re: Origin of CTRL-ALT-DELETE
Sure he does. I fell asleep last night with the TV on in the bedroom. I woke this morning to some televangelist who was promising miracles of money as a result of a free phone call to his ministry that would send me special miracle holy water.

"Good artists copy, great artists steal." - Picasso

The people at Microsoft may not have come up with all their ideas themselves, but they are the ones that turned them into software people actually use.

You took that quote completely out of context.

Re: Origin of CTRL-ALT-DELETE
That wasn't a good day for Mr. Bradley.

He returned home to find his 2 dogs and 3 cats had died from their heads falling off.

Re: Origin of CTRL-ALT-DELETE
I remember watching this when it aired on TV MANY MANY years ago, but I can't remember what program it was on.

Can someone post an airdate or what show this was on? It seems like it was on some pbs special or something.

Awesome clip!!!

Re: Origin of CTRL-ALT-DELETE
Bradley is a Professor at NC state...I had him as a professor actually. I think i remember him saying that he invented it back in the early-mid 80's so maybe this aired mid-late 80's is my guess. but anyways...he's not saying that Bill "stole" the idea...he just made it famous. I dont see that as a put down at all. Bradley is a smart man and did much at IBM.
