Hurra Torpedo, a band that uses kitchen appliences for percussion, does their tribute to Bonnie Tyler's 1983 hit song, "Total Eclipse of the Heart", on the tv show, "Lille Lørdag".

So bad it annoying. This is sad try at making people laugh by making yourself look as stupid as possible. I see it only as stupid. It goes beyond comedy and sinks right to dumbass. Most things that are so stupid they are funny, are usually just plain stupid. Just look at Bill Shatner.

Wanna know what sucks?. This has a "whatever" rating and only 460 visits yet it makes headline. There has been much better(higher rated/visited) stuff in the Latest Links section and they get no mention. My point is WHY VOTE because it doesn't seem to count anyway! I'm not winging. And personally dont give a damn. It's a mere observation of what has been happening.

Hey, I'm not defending the uh, artists. I submitted it because I thought it sick and twisted and amusing. And yeah, I knew some people would love it and others hate it.
Some people love Leslie Nielsen and think he's a comic genius. Personally, I think it's because he's been such a B actor for so long that he got his second wind in [supposedly] comedy.

Based upon the reaction here, I am certain that the "band" members are seeking only a reaction. Good or bad, just spell the name of the "musicians" right.
Yes, I hated their rendition of a popular folk song from 20+ years ago. But that's not the point. I laughed at their interpretation and inventive use of absurd instruments.

This clip was aired 7 years ago on prime time television in Norway.
The band is still active and are frequent guests on norwegian student festivals.
The people behind HT also play(ed) in a whole range of other bands (with more or less the same band members).
Some of these actually have achieved some limited success, most notably:
Gartnerlosjen (4 albums)
Bare Egil Band (2 albums)
Thulsa Doom (3 albums)
The Cumshots (1 albums)
Black Debbath (2 albums + 1 ep)
The band is still active and are frequent guests on norwegian student festivals.
The people behind HT also play(ed) in a whole range of other bands (with more or less the same band members).

The name of the members of the trio is: Egil Hegerberg (guitar dude), Kristopher Schau ("drummer") and Aslak Guttormsgaard (the one to the rigth). Kristopher Schau is also famous (in Norway atleast) as a TV comedian, and was a part of the program called "Team Antonsen", starring 4 of the most famous comedian in Norway.
