I looked at this from every comedic angle and I couldn't find anything funny about it. imo.

Scott Adams is a proponent of Intelligent Design? So that's why this segment is so stupid and un-funny.

Maybe Dilbert's garbage man can come by and explain that scientific facts are a pile of observations, laws are articulated patterns in those observations, and theories are explanations of why things happen the way they do.
