I've seen that stuff at A.D. 2000 Burning Man (rivers of poo).
"Adapting for morning, afternoon, and evening" [check.] "catching mail in nets" [check.] "disappearing skirts" [check.] "electric belts" [check.] "climate change" [check.] "lightly clad women", "wedding dress of glass", "worried looks" [check, check, check.]
Except the kids're wearing LEDs and EL wire instead of giant incandescent bulbs.
Dont forget your 'candies' for cutes, "It's the sleeves what does it!"

Although the last example is patently absurd,its interesting that the prediction itself is not far off the mark.The guy is packing a portable phone and radio for example.Its obviously very hard to step outside one's own era and experience,but these predictions are endlessly fascinating.
