Tree in the Forest
If a tree falls in a forest and no one's around...does it make a sound? Does it matter if you know it's fallen?

Re: Tree in the Forest
I knew a deaf lady once who felt very much the same way. She tried very, very hard to fit into the hearing world. She was quite good at it, much the same as the girl in the video. We all had sympathy for her efforts to "appear normal" and even though she tried SO hard, so hard, to fit in, she never quite found the equality she sought. We all tried to convince her to just be herself, who she was and what she was, but she never fully achieved that level of comfort.
