This movie was intriguing, especially this part. The movie was somewhat predictable after that. One can wonder how different this movie would be if Stanley Kubrick did not die during the making if this movie.

You have someone in agreement with you here. Up until the actual party, I felt the same curiosity that the Cruise character probably had. Afterwards, a snore-fest.

Flagged the link as broken; YouTube removed it due to user violation. Added a mirror, which worked fine a few minutes ago but now doesn't anymore. Too bad.
